Personalized training wherever you are
Currently, Compassionate Canine is operating as a mobile business, making house calls, ‘field trips’, and occasional training facility lessons. This allows me to meet your dog where she is most comfortable, and where the problem behaviors are most likely to occur: at home!
Madison Area:
We see clients in the greater Madison area Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. There are no additional mileage rate for clients located in the 'South Central' zone on the map. Whether you have a sneaky counter surfer, or two dogs who just won’t stop getting into it over prized items, we got you covered.
Milwaukee Area:
We currently see Milwaukee clients on a hybrid-basis only. This means that you will meet with your trainer once a month in person, and then the rest of the month will be virtual visits. Darcy is currently in Milwaukee on Wednesdays and Fridays. Consider yourself “in Milwaukee” if you are located in the area shaded within the ‘South East’ section on the map. Since moving to the hybrid format, we have done away with the mileage fees for Milwaukee clients.
We are currently taking on Milwaukee cases on a very limited basis, only focusing on extreme problem behaviors, and bite cases. If you are in Milwaukee and have a case that falls within one of these categories, please still reach out.

No, really, training wherever you are!
We also offer virtual training five days a week over Zoom, where you receive the same high quality feedback, empathic care, and coaching that our in-person clients receive, and you can expect the same results. Despite never meeting them in person, Darcy's client's across the globe* have made amazing progress with their dogs. Since Compassionate Canine's launch in 2020, Darcy has met virtually with clients in Mexico, Canada, the UK, Germany, Estonia, Australia, and New Zealand, in addition to a myriad of locations across the United States.
Whether you live outside of Darcy's travel radius, or you just don't feel up to in-person visits, virtual training is always an option.
Starting July 1, 2024, there is a 10% discount for all clients who choose fully-remote learning options. No hybrid lesson formats are eligible for the discount.
*Currently, we are only able to offer training to dog guardians who are fluent in English. We hope to expand into more languages in the future.
